➤ Introduction
Hello everyone,
I’m Snowrpion, the owner and founder of the ZephyrMC Network. Welcome to the very first Zephyr developer log.
In this dev log series, I’ll be sharing detailed updates on the network’s development, our long-term vision, and what you can expect as Zephyr continues to grow. This includes system progress, gamemode updates, behind-the-scenes development, and major milestones as we move closer to release.
As development progresses, more dev logs will be posted covering new features, internal systems, testing phases, and future plans.
➤ What is Zephyr?
Zephyr is going to be a multi-gamemode Minecraft Network. We currently plan on creating two gamemodes for our server’s official release, BedWars and SkyWars.
However, Zephyr is not meant to be “just another server.”
Our goal is to build a high-quality, custom-coded network focused on performance, fairness, and long-term expansion. Every major system is being developed in-house — from our core API and database structure to matchmaking, parties, stats, and future gamemodes.
Zephyr is being designed from the ground up to support: Fast and stable servers
A powerful custom core system
Fast + lag-free server networking
Advanced stats and progression
️ Fair gameplay and strong protection systems
Long-term scalability for future gamemodes
➤ Our Vision
The vision for Zephyr is to create a network that feels polished, competitive, and community-driven — a place where players can enjoy classic gamemodes like BedWars and SkyWars, but with modern systems, unique features, and constant improvement.
We are building Zephyr to be: Fun and accessible for casual players
Competitive and balanced for serious players
Technically strong behind the scenes
Actively developed with frequent updates
This means custom mechanics, regular balance changes, new maps, seasonal content, and feature updates driven by both development goals and community feedback.
➤ What We’re Building
At launch, Zephyr will focus on two core gamemodes:
️ BedWars – Fast-paced team and solo gameplay, custom systems and unique maps.
SkyWars – Competitive solo-focused gameplay with multiple modes and original maps.
Behind these, we are currently developing a fully custom backend including: ZephyrCore (central network systems)
Network-wide parties, friends, and messaging
Gamemode matchmaking and queues
Stats and leaderboards
Internal testing and development tools
➤ Looking Forward
Zephyr is a long-term project. BedWars and SkyWars are only the beginning. Once the network is stable and established, we plan to expand into new gamemodes, events, and larger systems built on the same core foundation.
Future dev logs will go deeper into:

As development continues, we’ll be sharing consistent updates so you can follow Zephyr’s growth from the ground up!
